Train to Busan

Seok-Woo, a fund manager who was divorced with his wife earlier, decides to take his daughter Su-an to her mother in Busan as her birthday gift. They board the KTX (a Korean bullet train) at a station in Seoul which is also occupied by the tough working-class husband Sang-hwa and his pregnant wife Seong-kyeong, a high school baseball team, rich but selfish CEO Yon-suk, elderly sisters In-gil and Jon-gil, and a homeless man.

As the train departs, a spasmodic young woman boards the train with a bite wound on her leg and is succumbed. Zombified, she attacks a passing female train attendant who attempted to resuscitate her, and the zombie infection spreads. They infect the baseball team and the other passengers, except Yong-guk, his girlfriend Jin-hee, and two other students fleeing to the front car. News broadcast reports about the zombie outbreak around Korea. The train stops at Daejeon which is seemingly void. While the passengers disembark, they come across the infected military zone and retreat. Zombies break through the room above the train, causing Seong-kyeong, In-gil and the homeless man to separate to the rear train and into the bathroom with Su-an. Realizing the dire situation they are in, the conductor operates the train to Busan, where news of successful decontamination has been heard.

Seok-Woo realized that Su-an was not at her seat. He races with Sang-hwa and Yong-guk to rescue his daughter and others before being chased back by the horde of infected passengers. They manage to reach the front train car, but Yon-suk and the passengers had locked the car door before them, fearing infection. Yong-guk tries to break the front door open while Seok-Woo and Sang-hwa try to block the zombies entering their cabin. However, Sang-hwa is bitten. He tells Seok-Woo to flee and asks him to take care of Seong-kyeong as he begins to transform into a zombie. Just as Yong-guk and Seok-Woo force the door open hindered by stubborn people, In-gil sacrifices herself to buy the others' time to escape to the safe cabin, disheartening Jong-gil.

Outraged, Seok-Woo punches Yon-suk in retaliation, but Yon-suk mistakenly claims that the latter is infected due to splattered blood over his shirt. Yon-suk and the other passengers fearfully demand the escapees to isolate to another car and Jin-hee joins them. Jong-gil realizes that her sister, who is seen almost zombified behind the door, had took her own life for the sake of others' lives, and she angrily sees the selfishness of the other passengers behind her. She thanks her sister and opens the door, letting the zombies rush in and kill the passengers except Yon-suk and an attendant seeking shelter in one of the restrooms. Seok-woo gets a call from one of his employees who said that the outbreak was caused by one of their projects.

Due to a train wreck at East Daegu train station, the survivors are forced to stop. As they try to find another train, they are attacked. Yon-Suk gives the attendant to the zombies to escape. He then throws Jin-Hee to a zombie to save himself. Despondent Yong-guk tries to comfort infected Jin-Hee but is attacked. The conductor who activates the last locomotive saves Yon-suk captured by zombies, but Yon-suk runs to the train, leaving the conductor to be consumed. After the homeless man defends others from zombies to death, Seok-Woo, Su-an and Seong-kyeong successfully board the locomotive. However, Yon-Suk had been inside the engine room in the verge of infection. Seok-Woo fights zombified Yon-suk off, but he is bitten before he throws him off the train.

Not wanting to kill his fellow survivors, Seok-woo pleas Seong-kyeong and Su-an that he needs to let himself go, agonizing his daughter. He commits suicide by falling down the train before he is transformed. Later, Seong-kyeong and Su-an stop at the blocked tunnel's entrance to Busan and walk through it. At the exit, soldiers spot two of them in the tunnel. But since they cannot identify them in the darkness, their commander orders them to shoot. As the soldiers prepare to fire, one of them hears a child singing a song, realizing that both are not zombies but survivors. They rush for the rescue while Su-an tearfully sings.

8 kinds of players on the Dota 2 SEA server

If you play Dota 2 pubs on a regular basis, you probably know that you come across certain kinds of players. But did you know that there are seven kinds of players that you will only find if you queue on the Southeast Asia server? Setting aside general kinds of players such as the noobs, the know-it-all, the leader, the stay lane, the mid-or-feed, and the flame-it-all to name a few, here are the seven kinds of players in Dota 2 SEA pubs.

1. The guy who keeps talking in Chinese

Although the China has its own servers, there are still several nationalities in Southeast Asia who can speak Chinese. This is the person who has the tendency to type everything in Chinese, regardless of whether anyone understands him. If you don’t know anything about Chinese characters, you’re not sure whether or not he’s actually Chinese, so he might be saying something game-related or just talking gibberish. After all, isn’t it possible that he’s just typing those characters mindlessly to piss you off? Or to make it look like he’s Chinese?

2. The guy who keeps on calling everyone Pinoy

Pinoy is the slang term for Filipino. For some reason, if you have this guy in-game, whenever something goes wrong, you get blamed for being Pinoy as if you’re to be insulted by that. Never mind if you’re Malaysian or Singaporean or of whatever nationality. If you have this person in your team and happen to disagree with him, prepare to be called a “Pinoy”. Seriously, it isn’t insulting if you’re talking to an actual Pinoy, as most of them are quite proud — sometimes too proud. Also, for the record, not all Pinoys are horrible players who do not know how to speak English. There are those of us who know how to play this game in a non-Pinoy way (as most of you would put it). Oh, and be open to the possibility that this person pointing fingers is a Pinoy as well.

3. The guy who everyone assumes to be Pinoy

Of course, if there’s a guy who’s pointing fingers, there’s a guy who’s at the receiving end of that. And there are times when this person is alone and gets ganged up on by several people. Again, never mind if you’re not Pinoy or if the ones calling you Pinoy are Pinoys themselves. The idea here is that you did something wrong so therefore, you are Pinoy. End of story. Again, it probably won’t be insulting to a person who is actually Pinoy. Although they have a bad reputation in Dota 2, not all Pinoys are going to admit that. As I mentioned, they are very proud and pointing out their nationality will either make them prouder or more aggressive. So I guess you should focus more on what they did wrong instead of stating their nationality.

4. The guy who bottle crows so selfishly up until late game

Bottle crowing is a technique that is used to increase survivability, especially in mid lane. And that’s fine. Overdoing it is not. Do you really have to bottle crow selfishly early game, mid game, late game regardless of the lane? Why? Why do you have to do this? Even as a support, don’t you realize I need the courier, too? You know, for wards? And hopefully for the brown boots that I’ve been slave-supporting over the past few minutes if I’m lucky? Don’t you realize that there are four other people who need their items, too? If you’re crippling the whole team just because you need to bottle crow for dear life up until late game, I think you need to review how to play this game.

5. The guy from Europe or North America who is complaining about lag

There are dedicated servers. I know. However, sooner or later, you ­will come across people who decided to queue for games all the way from the other side of the globe. Now it isn’t entirely wrong since there is no rule to prohibit people from queuing in different servers. For the record, even I tried queuing in European servers to play with a friend over there. However, if you experience lag while playing on a server on another continent, please stop vehemently complaining about it in the game or worse, pausing the game in hopes that the lag will go away.

6. The guy who pretends to be Singaporean or Malaysian

In an attempt to make people think that he is Singaporean or Malaysian, this person keeps on adding “le” and “la” to everything he says in chat. And I mean everything (“Top la! B la! Nice la! GGWP la!”). So how do I know that there are people who pretend to be Singaporean or Malaysian? Because I know people who pretend to be Singaporean or Malaysian. Why do they do it? I’m not sure.

Pretending to be Singaporean doesn’t actually affect the game. However, if it’s a step to make other players think that they are either Daryl “iceiceice” Koh or Cai Yee “Mushi” Fung then it takes more than “la” or “le” to do that. Also, here’s some advice: if you are trying to pretend to be Singaporean or Malaysian, you are supposed to add “la” or “le”, not “na” or “ka” or “ga”.

7. The Pinoy

Now I wasn’t entirely sure if being Pinoy merited a mention, but come to think of it, I haven’t heard anyone in SEA say something like, “That gameplay! You must be Singaporean!” or “That attitude! You must be Malaysian!” I guess it’s because Pinoys have a distinct way of playing and acting in pubs added to the fact that WC3 DotA is very popular in the Philippines. Whether or not you consider Pinoys notorious is really up to you. On a positive note, Pinoys are quite creative when it comes to Dota. They just need a push in the right direction and sometimes a dose of reality whenever the #PinoyPride syndrome kicks in (“Pinoy Doto, Best Doto!”).

8.RAGE QUIT!

The most popular happen in Sea server! Feel lost,feel annoying, then rage quit the match.

4.Sapukan pada muka dan biarkan selama 30 minit.

Lundu lies in the west of Sarawak, on the west bank of the Batang Kayan (Kayan River), and not far from the South China Sea. The road from Kuching to Lundu measures, all in all, about 90 km. 

•By car: From the center of Kuching, take Rock Road to Third Mile bazaar, and continue on Batu Kawa Road. At the time of writing (25 March 2004) Batu Kawa Road is being widened, so expect obstructions. Continue over the Sarawak River Bridge and straight to the end. Turn right (to the west) and drive straight on the Bau-Lundu road.

•By bus: The Sarawak Transport Company runs four busses in each direction from the Kuching Express Terminal at 3 ½ Mile. Trip time is about one and a half hours, and the fare is RM12.00.  The Express-Bus Terminal is best reached by taxi.

But now there is a new way of Matang Highway with only through Sempadi and Ferry Road Rambungan. With the new road, the travel time is shorter and faster to get to Kuching.

Daerah Bau [Gold Town]

                                   Daerah Bau Tahun 2010

Sejak tahun 1850an Daerah Bau memang terkenal dengan emas. Pencari emas pada ketika itu terdiri daripada orang Cina dari Sambas, Indonesia dan dibantu oleh orang tempatan dengan menggunakan dulang.

Sejarah terlakar sekitar tahun 1815 apabila penduduk Cina dari Daerah Bau menyerang Bandar Kuching bagi menghalau Rajah Brooke kerana mereka khuatir lombong emas akan diambil alih oleh pemerintah Inggeris. Walaupun berjaya menghalau pemerintah Inggeris namun tiga hari kemudian Rajah Brooke bersama askarnya kembali dan mengalahkan penyerang berkenaan. Pada tahun 1899 Borneo Company milik kerajaan Brooke mula membuka lombong emas yang dikenali sebagai Tai Parit Gold Mine dan Bidi Gold Mine.

Sehingga kini, Daerah Bau masih sinonim dengan gelaran Pekan Emas Sarawak atau Gold Town of Sarawak. Nama asal Bau ialah ‘Ulu Sarawak’ manakala Pekan Bau sendiri adalah Mau San atau Bukit Mau. Dalam bahasa Cina Hakka, Pekan Bau dikenali sebagai Shak Lung Mung bermaksud Pintu Pagar Naga Bukit. Pada suatu ketika dahulu, Sungai Sarawak Kanan merupakan kaedah pengangkutan utama ke Daerah Bau yang mengambil masa satu hari perjalanan menggunakan perahu untuk sampai ke Kuching.

Sekarang, kita boleh menggunakan jalan darat kira-kira 35 kilometer dari Bandaraya Kuching ke Daerah Bau. Daerah Bau mempunyai keluasan lebih kurang 884.4 kilometer persegi dan bersempadan dengan Kalimantan Barat, Indonesia. Daerah ini mempunyai penduduk dari pelbagai kaum yang majoritinya merupakan kaum Bidayuh dengan bilangan penduduk seramai 44,149 orang dan rumah 8,901 pintu dan sebuah daerah yang membangun dengan pesat.

Dengan kemudahan infrastruktur yang baik, keseluruhan kampung di daerah ini dapat dihubungi melalui jalan darat. Punca utama pendapatan penduduk datangnya dari sumber pertanian. Antara hasil pertanian yang dikeluarkan dari daerah ini ialah kelapa sawit, koko, getah, padi, lada hitam, kopi dan lain-lain.
